I can't get excited about velocity if that is all I'm seeing.

Agreed..but it’s encouraging that it’s back up there.

OTOh, just like Bradish, it was a tiny sample size, so it doesn’t mean much.

By maybe Baumann can find himself again as a reliever.  This has always been his most likely destination anyway.

Coming into ST I thought Bradish would begin at AAA.   But he looked ready to be in the rotation last night again the Yankees A team.   Hope he keeps it up.

It was 2 innings.  It means very little.

That said, he should start in the majors.  Why not?  He is age appropriate, he threw enough MiL innings and ended the AAA season better than he started it.  Not much more to prove in the minors that he can’t do in the majors.

Oh and we are terrible..so get these kids up and start to see what you have.

This is my major concern with getting to playoff contention. I feel like our position players are not that far off from contending for the playoffs. C, DH, 1B and the OF are all filling up with decent players. Obviously, SS 2B and 3B still need help. I just don't think we have enough quantity nor quality of starting pitchers coming up as will be needed. I certainly hope they are planning to spend on them.

Pitching has to come from outside the organization but don’t worry, that’ll happen when we are ready to compete.

There is no need to try and be better now because we aren’t ready.  Until then, being a joke of a franchise is just fine.

Baumann is basically Mike Wright because I don't see a useful breaking ball to speak of, but I do like that his velocity is back up to where it should be. Something to build off of.

Bradish is a dude, been telling people not to sleep on him.

Alex Wells should get hit by the Yankees with his lack of stuff and that's exactly what happened. I don't think we have much there, he just isn't going to be able to hang most nights.

Perez I really like. I like his mound presence and he throws strikes with good stuff. Fry type arm if not better potentially.

Tate's improvement is one of the camp's biggest sleeper storylines.

Scott continues to disappoint.
