Let's see how this Club's middle infield defense works out, and if the rotation can hold up.    They might not get to "control Tanner Houck's environment" quite the same way we can with Tyler Wells this year.

Honestly, that play looks worse to me than DJ getting bonked in the head by the ball...at least DJ made an effort (albeit not a skilled one). Throwing a pity party for yourself because you lost the ball in the lights while the dude is still rounding the bases is a really bad look.

We have flubbed some of our A's-Tigers type series, which they haven't.

They were 0-10-1 in their divisional series in the 1st Half, and Franchise Player Rafael Devers just hit the IL, with  Yolmer Sanchez filling in initially.

I was pretty surprised to see him in the lineup today after that embarrassing display.   But he was, leading off.

He went 0 for 4.
