I would have.   At least, let him start the inning and see how it goes.   Let’s face it, the O’s have been super-conservative on pitch counts the last two years, especially with Rodriguez.

In what I hope are the last links to Grayson running circles around all the other pitchers in the league he is in as he has done  in every league in which he has pitched these last couple years, here is this morning's, showing him up 32-24-22.  Good on the Tides social media for touting the Kyle Muller matchup last night, had not realized he is perhaps the favorite to be International League Pitcher of the Year in 2022.

The 8.1% margin between 1st and 2nd place is the same as the margin between 2nd and 15th.

Nothing else really to add. All the boxes are checked. Maybe Super two is the holdup. This was a "Im ready" type outing if there ever was one.

I can't see him making his ML debut on short rest on Tuesday after going 7 last night. If the Orioles want to give someone an extra day of rest though, maybe later that week

Roch says in his mailbag before the all star break. Could be way before. IMO,they may want to build his pitch count to 90+ before calling him up. I think theres a super two aspect to it by this point.

Not sure, in the big picture, that there is any significant difference in 10 starts at AAA compared to 15. Plus, it always sounds like people who judge what's "right and wrong" sound a little like they have a God complex.

Grayson has been ready all year.  But the service time rules are part of the game players and owners agreed to.  Neither side was on the side of more competition.

I believe he means morally wrong to keep a guy in the minors when he’s ready for the majors, to deprive him of earning more money.  

I don’t necessarily agree with him, but I certainly don’t think he has a “God complex.”
