The part that bothers me is Elias' comment that GR "could" start next year in the rotation. Could? SMDH. I'll assume his rehab goes according to plan, but if he's not in the opening day 2022 rotation, that's just crazy.

Hes going to have to build up his innings again and work through the minors. AKA they will wait until super 2 again

If he can start a throwing progression in August, he’d still have to make rehab starts in September (this is true for every pitcher rehab in every org) before coming up. Is it really worth it for 1-2 mob starts? Or is it better to really make sure it heals properly and doesn’t linger, and just bring him back next year?

Maybe we shouldn’t have him pitch in 2023 either, just to make sure everything is definitely good to go!

2024 All Star Break should keep Grayson safe from Super Two status.

Be ready for that push to get to .500 in 2025!

Don’t you guys ever tire of making the same joke over and over?

Roch wrote a long piece on Grayson’s injury today, with quotes from Elias, Grayson and various doctors.

Sounds like it’s definitely possible Grayson could return in September.   And I’d have to think that a stint in the Arizona Fall League is likely, to help boost his innings total.

Yes, extremely.  Would be nice if this late in the process the joke was no longer relevant.

Jokes are supposed to be funny.  If it's extremely tiresome to make the joke, have some pity on the audience (except the inner circle of the Beat The Dead Horse Club).

Interesting, Elias keeps saying no guarantees but Roch says "September, at the latest". Not sure what that means.

Pitching again in September, at the latest, is important to Rodriguez’s frame of mind and feeds his competitive spirit.

That's coming from Rodriguez.
