Emerging Prospects

Who has looked like a middling prospect and has shown early signs of taking a jump forward?    Agree or disagree on this list and feel free to add.

1. Hudson Haskin -  His full season debut in 2021 was ok, split between Delmarva and Aberdeen but they promoted him to AA and he is smoking the ball in the early going with 3 doubles and 3 homer runs (all in one game).   The 0 walks is a slight concern but he's definitely increased my interest in just a few games to start the year.

2. Adam Hall -  He still might not be a top 10 or even a top 20 type of guy but he's on the map again and you've got to love the stolen base ability (probably the best threat in the system) if he can just get on base consistently.   A super utility profile is emerging.

3. Noelberth Romero  -  Way down at Delmarva, he's been batting 9th mostly but he has only 2 strikeouts in about 20 AB's with a homer and double.   The fact that he can play 2B-3B and maybe even some SS helps.  Tony made the comment that he looked impressive physically.   Let's keep on eye on him as well.

4. Moises Chace -  There was little buzz about him before but he's debut this year with 7 K's in 4 IP has put him on the map along with Raul Rangel who we heard more about last year.  Both players could be breakthrough candidates this year.

5. John Rhodes -  He had a decent debut last year showing good contact skills.   He's at it again in Aberdeen with elite contact skills so far.   If there's power in there, we've got something.
