Is that the headband beer guy? the shaking lemonade guy does beer too sometimes and is GREAT...hes like having a bartender who will fill you up when youre close to empty

Nah the headband guy is a local legend, though. I've seen him at:

-Oriole Park

-M&T

-Byrd

-Cole

-Comcast Center

And my buddy has stated he's seen him at FedEx Field.

Clarence is the JACKED black guy that sells beer in the lower level. He wears a hat with the bill flipped up that says "CLARENCE" on it. On Saturdays he's often yelled out "Drink beer! It's not Sunday! You don't go to church today!"

Hilarious stuff.

My point was for everyone to relax don't take what I am saying as being the Bible and certainly don't refer to me as God.

Ray

When someone asks if you're a God

You say, "YES !!!"

As long as he doesn't shake the beer up, everything's cool.

Yeah, Clarence alone is reason enough to go to an O's game.

Not that it matters considering this is another Tex thread but I am pretty sure the man you are referring to is Clancy. I have known him since childhood. And you guys are right, he IS and HAS BEEN the best part of the yards for a while. BEER MAN BEER MAN BEER MAN!!!!!!

Of course I am nervous. Th last 11 years makes me nervous. That doesn't mean I am any less optimistic!!!!!!!!! Some people on here have referred to me as being God! God???? I think people need to just relax and take what I say with a grain of salt. This doesn't mean that now I think Tex isn't signing here. I think I have been pretty clear on that.

My point was for everyone to relax don't take what I am saying as being the Bible and certainly don't refer to me as God. I'm just a fan!!!!!

You must not have heard of Belkastianism yet. It's all the rage in the Baltimore area, from what I'm hearing.

I hope people aren't holding the high hopes on what this 'new insider' has said. It was supposed to be done in 24 hrs (days ago according to him), and supposidly has been done for days....yet no one else has heard anything....
Read as much or as little in to this as you want. I was originally informed Saturday night that it would be announced within 24 hrs., which my guy believed would work into an announcement during the Ravens game. Apparently since then the deal has been held up by a few SMALL things (I asked what things specifically and wasn't given a straight answer). However it looks like the deal is about as close as can be without an actual announcement. I have no idea if that means it will be official in a matter of mins or days, but I'm very confident from what I've heard that Tex will be an Oriole.

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.

We do. The guy in question seemed to be hearing what Bigbird and I were hearing as well. Again, my point was for everyone to relax until we hear something from the media. As we all know things CAN CHANGE quickly. I have experienced that change more then I have wanted too. With that said, as of last night things were looking very, very good. I am extremely excited but I am also keeping in mind that things do change quickly.

Now to satisfy some here with how I feel..........:):):):):):):):)

I don't know about you guys, but those smiley faces satisfy me like a warm glass of bourbon on a cold rainy day.

    • The Orioles are in sweet and tangy bbq land to play the Fightin' Bob Hamelins for a three game set starting tonight. Fri:  7:40 EST start:  Dean Kremer vs. Alec Marsh Sat:  7:10 EST start:  Corbin Burnes vs. Cole Ragans Sun:  2:10 EST start:  Cole Irvin vs. Seth Lugo KC enters the series 1 game back of the Cleveland Thomes and they're 7-3 over their last 10.  Despite their recent history of ineptitude, they look to be improved this year in the poverty stricken AL Central and they can still give us a hard time.  Lefty Ragans is off to a good start which means we'll be down Ryan O'Hearn for Austin Hays as is Sunday starter Lugo. Bobby Witt 2.0 has an OPS of .997 and already at 1.6 WAR, Old Man Perez is at .943 and Vinnie Boom Bats is .853.
    • This would be fine by me.I know some people said they don't want a bigger scoreboard  Also Nationals Park is upgrading the speaker system but didn't finish the whole upgrade for this  season.         The offseason upgrades (off-the-field variety) that could have the biggest effect on fan experience are to the scoreboard displays in the ballpark. The Nationals replaced their main scoreboard, their out-of-town scoreboard in right-center field and their ribbon boards with state-of-the-art LED displays that feature much higher resolution than the previous models. The size of the main scoreboard is unchanged, but the difference in quality is noticeable, and the clearer and brighter display will feature enhanced statistics and graphics.
    • However you wanna calculate it, he’s a diaper dandy.
    • Westburg exceeded rookie eligibility limits last year exceeding 130 at bats and more than 45 days on the active roster. On the plus side he might qualify as a super sophomore or at the very least avoid the sophomore slump.
    • Westburg shouldn’t be, where are you seeing that?
    • So since Westburg is apparently still ROY eligible, Cowser and Westburg may project to be the best rookie combination since Fred Lynn and Jim Rice in 1975?
    • There were several and I was one them. I'm  on record as saying I was one of his biggest Apologists . You should feel good about yourself as you were able to see that Means would be imploding before our very eyes( which was an opinion or a guess, which is what I did) as far as feeling bad for me? Dont I'm plenty good enough to know I wont be able to guess right every time
