One thing that bothers me.....

For Connolly to say the Orioles haven't upper their offer and for him to have quotes from AM, that tells me that AM told him they haven't upper the offer.

AM will withhold info and things like that but he doesn't lie IMO.

If he is asked did you do this and he says no, I would be surprised if AM was lying about that.

Added to that the fist line of this quote

"If they came back to us and told us what it would take and we thought that it made sense for us, then yes [the original offer could be altered]," MacPhail said.

I raised this red flag before about Boras' supposed promise to come back to us for a final offer.
