very interesting, Tek could be a possibility with Traenor signing with Detroit. Bako and Zaun should not be considered they would still have to be able to contribute for a month or two. Baltimore couldn't just give away outs at the bottom of the lineup.

I don't think the media has a clue what the offers really are. They keep citing our seven-year offer, when at this point we can all conclude a more lucrative offer has been made by the Os.

I hope that Tex has his heart on playing in Baltimore and is only dragging this out to get the most from the Os. I'm starting to doubt that, though.

I can't imagine Angelos being happy getting outdone by the Nats, and I'd think he'd foresee the backlash if the Sox get Tex. Thus I still think Angelos will bid high at the appropriate moment. There's too much at stake for this franchise at this point. This isn't a typical free agent where you just go to Plan B.

I'm not because I still think that the O's will pull this off somehow, some way. When? I can't be for sure, but I still feel as though they will.

No one thinks we are the winner in this and the cheerleading from the insiders has noticably slowed. I am concerned that at this point a wow offer may not be in the offing...but at the same time, I believe that Tex would like to be in Bmore if all other things were equal.

If we are close....I hope the WOW offer is laid on the table.
