Teixeira Watch: Part VIII- Decisions, Decisions

Nothing is official yet. I was told that we would either have some kind of agreement today or we would be dropping out. Tex is in the elimination process as I was told we fully expect to know where we stand today.

That lays it out pretty well... Seems to be that the final countdown has begun on Tex's decision.

Im sorry folks and fellow Oriole fans but this has gone on long enough. I was all for the Orioles signing this guy. Hometown savior , next Baltimore Icon.. whatever you want to say , now I don't care where he goes. For one guy to hold up the free agent market for I don't know 10-15 days is ridiculous. Going to Boston, no going LA..no back to the east coast, mystery team... at this point just go somewhere and let the chips fall when they may. He's nice to have but we ( Orioles ) still have a ways to go anyway..

It's also not a negative sign, which at least three posters pointed out it looked bad for the Orioles. I don't see that logic.

Someone should merge all 7 threads when this is over and then archive it.

We very likely will.

FWIW, Part VIII: The Ocho finished a close second for the thread title. ;)
