A guy was interviewed the other day and said their “secret” is they tell you to just throw strike one and strike two.  I was like, uh yeah, how is this unique?  He went on to describe detailed communication that breaks down pitchers’ reluctance to follow the data, e.g. an aversion to relying on a changeup (which they think of as an ugly pitch) if that’s their most successful pitch. 

It ended up being all about communication.  I can believe that’s a lot trickier than it might seem.
