If I had to guess I'd say Elias wants a yes man in his manager not someone with the gravitas of a Maddon.

I also don't think the O's would want to pay Maddon who was making 6M a year.

I honestly don't think the O's will even consider just curious to see what others  think. I think with Girardi out Philly in that's a ideal landing spot for Maddon.

I like Maddon..Hyde learned from him.  I’m good with Hyde and hope he gets a chance with a team that actually has talent.
