It didn't appear so. I think for some reason they knew exactly how many batters/outs they wanted Akin to go and just brought Krehbiel in to cover the gap. 

Between that and waiting for a blowout to use him, almost has me wondering if they're trying to stretch Akin out to a potential starting role. Though he'll go 3.1 if he finishes the game and he did go 3+ once in April and once in May.

Excellent heads up baserunning by Mullins to keep from getting thrown out on the sudden line drive catch at 3B, then to get to third after the throw gets away from the second baseman, and then of course scoring on the sac fly to make it 9-2.
