Can someone who is smarter than me let me know how he compares to Henderson?  On the surface they seem like similar players.  Left hitting shortstop, high school kid.

The Dansby Swanson comp also seems very odd to me. Swanson is 28 and is having his first really good season. That's a weird career path for a 17 year old like Holliday to take. I remember Swanson seeming like a somewhat of a disappointment up until a couple years ago.

I know this probably had zero bearing on the pick but I can't help but think of the fact that Jones is a Boras client and everything that is going on with Soto. 

Is it possible that future monetary commitments could have influenced the pick instead of the slot/bonus right now? 

For what it's worth I really like Holliday and am stoked that it was him or Jones.
