    • Hard to say but McKenna also has a 596 OPS vs RH this year which isnt good. LH matchups he does pretty well in.
    • Well, he's 6-20 in his last 20 ABs, with a 2B and a 3B. 4 of those hits came in a double header, though, and he's got 0 BB and 2 Ks in that period.  11-46 with 3 2Bs, a 3B, 12 Ks and 3 BBs since July 6th. At least getting closer to competence...

    • My friend's grandma bought a house in California for 10k in the 60s and the family sold it for 1.4m when she passed on.
    • These are fun numbers to kick around but we all know that baseball isn't constructed the way basketball or football is where you can dish to Michael Jordan for 30 shots a game or have Aaron Rodgers throw it 35+ times.   It's a little different for Rutschman since he's a catcher and he's done, by all accounts, a fantastic job of handling the pitchers, framing pitches, etc.  How much of the staff turnaround is due to him?  Hard to say.  But since he's arrived other guys have been playing well, too.   It's definitely easier and more romantic to say that this is all due to Adley's presence, though.
    • Nope.  Odor starting.  Vavra not starting anywhere.
    • Ehh, maybe.  He is a 32 year old pitcher who has had TJ surgery twice.  He is having an ok year but nothing great and won’t have throw more than 125 innings in any season for several years. I would go the third year if we had to and of course his market will matter but whatever the market ends up being, I will prefer a shorter deal for a higher AAV.
