Famous name.

I thought he got Next Big Thing media treatment last CWS during the Rocker-Leiter run.    I hadn't heard his name at all in this year's pool, so imagine he must have had some kind of disappointing season.

Woof, he hit .207.  

His on base percentage was .327 so there's some good separation there.  I'm assuming he's a defensive whiz or something.

Despite his poor numbers last year, I like the upside swing in the 17th. Who knows if they’ll be able to get a deal done.

FanGraphs still had Young 98th and McDaniel had him 179.

This is the most interesting pick of their draft by far. If they're able to get this done, it's a more interesting signing than any HS player that was available today.

Going into a meeting but I bet if you poke around for "Too Early 2022 Mock Drafts" from 12 months ago, you'd find him in the first round.

I'm not much of a college guy, but broadly think being the Vanderbillt SS is like being the Yankees CF or something.
