Michael King suffered a fractured elbow in last night’s outing against the O’s

Last night, Michael King left the game very suddenly and it looked like he was nauseous.  I wrote it off to a stomach bug, food poisoning or heat exhaustion. Now it turns out he suffered a fractured elbow.   I don’t think he was hit or fell or anything.  Just a stress fracture reaching the breaking point?  In any event, ouch.

I thought nausea too especially with his cheeks blowing up like it was on its way. But I have seen (as others have I’m sure) people break a bone and then quickly get sick just from the shock and pain. I feel bad for him but also glad we won’t have to face him anymore this year!

Kevin Brown initially said that King was sick, which made me think it was heat-related. But then a couple of minutes later, Brown said he hoped it was just a sickness and not an injury.
