According to the Yankee TV color guy, Jorge Lopez was a starter "who went into Brandon Hyde's offense and begged to move into the bullpen".

Is that true???   First I'd heard of it.

It was in a sililoquy where he was being very complimentary of the improvements on the Orioles, talking about guys wiling to take on new roles in order to help the team win.   Positive commentary, very impressed with the O's.   But factual?   I don't know.
