My cousin is a huge Nats fan and he's been on meltdown for the last two weeks (actually year if you count Trea and Max). He's having a freaking aneurysm today lol. Tried explaining this is probably for the better long term but that just gets him even more worked up loool.

Interesting. But OK, end result they shed Hosmer and still get Bell. Not a bad upgrade.

Padres barely increased payroll by trading Hosmer, at least as far as the CBT.  They had better win a World Series or Preller will be looking for a job.

Nats got a really good package back. Heck, Abrams might be the worse one of the group and he's a 6th overall pick.
