So once Gunnar comes up it’s almost as if we have two top of the lineups. 
 

1-4 Mullins, AR, Santander, Mountcastle 

5-8 Vavra, Hays, Gunnar, Urias

9 Mateo

Not sure what it says to me that they are giving him starts at 1B. Sure there is no harm but we have a clear need at 3B.

Our lineup definitely feels a bat short right now. 3B and Urias to 2B seems like the easiest way to improve that. Who knows?  We don’t even play our best players that are on the roster here recently.

I wonder if they are thinking Henderson could LH/RH platoon with Mountcastle at 1B (at least a few games) in September? Seems kind of crazy, but...
