Tonight was his Delmarva debut. The FCL season just ended, so it was either get his feet wet in full season ball or his season was over. He's only going to get about two and a half weeks in before their season ends too, I doubt that's going to be enough to keep him from starting there next year, no matter how well he does.

Greater than a 0% chance we send him to the AFL this year?  It used to be that each team could send one player below AA. I’m not sure it still is.

An Oriole HS draftee starting their first full year in high A.   I think Cal started his first full season in the Florida State league which was A+ at the time.   It almost never happens.   That would be impressive.

I am beginning to think of Jackson as the O's next CFer after Mullins.   He runs like the wind and has a strong arm.  The O's have other SSs like Mateo, Gunnar  and Ortiz.  But I don't know if there is a CFer in the O's system that has the range and offensive ability of Mullins.  Jackson may fit there in a few years.
