Anyone else listen to or watch The Compound podcast that Ian Happ leads?  It's odd and cool getting to see him in a game after having watched the last 2 or 3 episodes on youtu.be.  He's rather impressed with the Os (as are most media-type folk these days).

Melanie and Dave Johnson in the booth certainly screams "this game wasn't on the schedule."

Yup first thing I thought of was yesterday we had the B team line up on the field and today it's the B team in broadcast booth...

Mountcastle swinging at slop

He swung at two pitches way outside the zone. Mountcastle needs to understand that his bat is all he has, and there are about a hundred guys in the system that can probably play his position. If any of them can produce offensively better than he can going forward then he’ll be working at Sears in his ‘30s.
