I like Baumann more than Webb, who with no options remaining, I think ends up elsewhere in '24. -
An interview with Elias last summer revealed they have an entire team (believe he said 4 people) who do nothing but contract work. He said that a large part of their time was devoted to creating hypothetical contracts to present to their players and that it is done as an ongoing process throughout the year. -
Really …Norby is no longer in anybody’s top 100. He was last year. If they did a top 200 my guess is he’s somewhere between 110-130 -

Cowser clearly has the higher upside as an all around player compared to Kjerstad. -

Of course they want the top guys. They also have the data to see the Westburg is 100% a difference maker. He put up 1/2 the WAR Cease did in 1/3 of a season…..his first season. Seems to me Cease for Westburg straight up shouldn’t be too far off.
