Orioles should consider converting Stowers to 1B

So there is a way to backdoor get statcast data on baseball savant for games that take place in Charlotte, so I decided to see if there were any fun nuggets about O's prospects.  Unfortunately the Tides have only played one series in Charlotte back in May so there was no data for Westburg, Henderson, or Ortiz - but Kyle Stowers was cooking that series.

He hit 4 HRs in Charlotte, which is impressive, but he also clocked one ball 111.2 MPH - which would translate into 75% max exit velocity among pros this year.  That's some legit raw power and hopefully he continues to get chances to keep unlocking it.

For anyone who wants to look at that specific game's data, here's the link: https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/gamefeed?gamePk=666278

The trick is finding the 6 digit code on the milb.com box scores and then you paste that into the URL if you want to find a different game
