Haha. Jokes aside, I’d be ok with Wacha. He’s coming off the best heat of his career, which was probably a fluke, but we could do a lot worse as a back of the rotation guy.

Syndergaard is still a bit of a name.  No chance he'd ever have considered coming here unless it was the only option.  Look at where he's played, he wants to be in the big markets.

It might take Elias finding an unknown quantity like with Miguel González in 2012 to bolster the starting pitcher.

Don't worry Roch will eventually write a column that explains why the Orioles not acquiring a quality starting pitcher this winter was a good thing. Hey at least there won't be an issue with a veteran pitcher blocking pitching prospects now.
