It’s not sexy, but is Ross Stripling a good fit?

Ugh, I guess it’s probably a slight improvement over doing nothing.  I recall watching a game or two against him and not being very impressed with his stuff… seemed to have a decent change up.  He seems likely to regress and won’t be worth his contract (not many FAs are). Would be disappointing to pick up Blue Jay scraps and call it an off-season.

I noticed every time you post one of your good fits for the Orioles that they get signed within 24 hours. Abreu,Bell and now Stripling  Coincidence,I think not.

Somewhere, certain OH posters are breathing a sigh of relief that the Orioles did not spend money.  Best the owners keep the money for themselves instead of investing it on players that can help the Orioles.

You could throw Kluber and Smyly in there I guess. But otherwise, yep. 

I'd opt for a trade at this point. Nothing exciting about any of these guys. Stabilizing, sure. But not exciting.

In all honesty, aside from Eovaldi, they all seem like a waste of money to me.  Agree with going to the trade route, but if we're not willing to part with prospects I feel like we have little or no leverage to make that happen either.
