I think he's a guy that 10 years or so ago we would have been following on a nightly basis and seeing as a savior.  Now he's almost overlooked by some.  The system remains deep if Elias ever chooses to use it (sorry, couldn't resist).

Can't imagine there are many other systems where Mayo and Prieto aren't moved to AAA. Absolutely nowhere to put them in Norfolk though. Now that is an actual logjam, unlike the one in Baltimore...

I'm guessing they don't feel it will be a terribly difficult transition. Kinda like Urías who's barely played 1B and had no problem filling in tonight.

Next season is looking like a very exciting one, with I'm guessing an OF of Hays-Mullins-Cowser DH Kjerstad, and Mayo surely knocking at the door at 1B.
