Depends on what he wants to do. I think 10 years is a few years too long. Boras will want him to be a FA before 30.

8 years is very possible imo.  It’s more important to extend him than Adley imo.

That would be interesting, and I’m guessing neither party would ultimately do that deal.

Really, really wished I placed a small wager on AL ROY for Gunnar when his odds went way down when he initially slumped at the beginning of the season.

A reminder that the next 5 years, he likely makes no more than 50M total.

So a 10/200 deal is paying him 30M a year for his FA years.
