Been too busy at work to join the game thread, but following the game a bit on Gameday.

Looking at the game thread now, it amazes me that we have never trailed by more than 1 run in this game and haven't trailed since the 3rd inning and yet it seems like everyone on here is counting this as a loss.

Let's get a run in the 8th, bring in Felix, and take 3 out of 4.

We've seen this kind of game before. Get a lead, pitcher blows it. Get a bigger lead, pitcher blows it. Then stop hitting.

Baker has a decent record going more than one inning, incl some 2-inning stints. I know he threw 15 pitches, but why not keep him in against the RH-hitting bottom of the A's lineup in the 8th?
