I knew this team would be more patient with Adley and Gunnar joining the team for a full year.  However I never expected everyone to start walking. And being patient.  So far we have walked 78 times in 16 games which puts us on pace for 795 for the season.  Last year we had 476 for the season.  I doubt we keep up with that pace but still if we can walk close to 700 times this season this team will put up a ton of runs and you shouldn’t see and prolonged slumps of not being able to score.  It also helps when facing a dominant starter to get his pitch count up and get to the bullpen earlier.
