I think that's what makes Dean, Dean the Competitor. He was like that last season when he was at his best in the 2nd half. His emotion on the mound is a positive.

No, not it's not. It has nothing to do with being a competitor. On the second pitch of the game when you bounce a curveball you don't scream out "F#@$" into your glove. 

That's immature and shows that he's struggling to contain the emotion you need to be able to contain as a starter through hopefully 6 plus innings.
