Pretty amazing how well the O's did in that draft.  Kjerstad, Westburg, Mayo, Baumler, Haskin...not a bad group.

Ah, Melvin Mora... One of my most favorite underrated Orioles from the past. That's a name I haven't heard in ages. Good times watching him play for the Orioles. He had tremendous heart and tenacity.

I was expecting the Orange jerseys tonight too. But to be honest, I love the clean look of the white home uniforms so it doesn't bother me that they skipped them this time. I wonder if the possibility of a rain post postponement may have had something to do with the uniform choice? Who knows?

That said, my first game I ever went to they wore the Orange jerseys, but according to certain baseball historian sites, they only wore that Orange jersey 3 times that entire season.

It's possible they might not wear that as much any more, beings they were always 4th in line for all the uniforms the Orioles ever wore and weren't even part of the regular repertoire for most seasons up until the past couple decades.

Hopefully they will still sprinkle the Orange uniforms in some this year. I wonder when we will see them make their debut this season?

Can we just recycle this thread?  Looks like the matchups are:

Gibson vs. Wentz

Rodriguez vs. Rodriguez

Kremer vs. Boyd

Bradish vs. Turnbull

The first two are a reprise of last weekend’s matchups. We haven’t seen Boyd or Turnbull.

I still miss the complete (jersey and pants) orange unis. My closest friend (Mets fan) calls it a clown suit, but the four 20-game winners posing together in them looked like anything but a bunch of bozos....

Will be interesting to see what the Tigers come up with after being swept this past series by the Os. Ed-Rod following up on the perfecto bid, Boyd and Turnbull, and the fact that Kremer and esp. Bradish have to recover from poor outings in the meantime make it more of a brand-new test than such a quickly returning series normally would be.

Miss having Comerica Park Tiger killers Melvin Mora and Luke Scott around, but this whole road trip wd be a great time for Henderson and Santander to bust loose--there are, of course, recent signs of them being on the verge.

Like the Red Sox they will enter their BAL series coming off a nice road series win in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee avoided the sweep this afternoon, and Hinch got to rest all of his better relievers.

The Eduardo rematch coming off the super gem should be fun.     Javier Baez exited today's game after a HBP.

Looks like chance of rain ,especially on Friday but also Saturday and Sunday. But we know weather forecasts

I’m expecting massive amounts of orange for the city jersey.

I think city jersey is going to resemble that ensemble.

      Grichuk really bounced back last year. He would be great as RH OF/DH to play against LHP. Really need to find a bat like that because we’re so lefty dominant. Losing Santander will only add to that.

      I think that was very true for a lot of years. Too many, really. But I feel like things might have changed this year with the fanbase, as I think the last three and a half months really ripped the shine off of just about everyone and everything associated with the Orioles. I think the attendance at these playoff games and the intensity of the crowd (just based on what I saw on TV and comparing it to 2012 and 2014) reflected how fans felt about the product this year. Even the tone of this board feels different, and I am glad to see it. I don't think people are celebrating regular season win totals like they did in the past, or thinking not being swept in the regular season was ever cool when they got ousted in 3 by Texas when it counted, or having blind faith in Elias. If anything, I think the patience with Elias, Hyde, the coaches, and the players has finally run thin. Hopefully there are no more age excuses for Holliday when we have seen what the other young Jacksons in the majors look like, or Adley when we have seen what a much older and bigger Sal Perez is capable of, or any of our hitters who all came up so small in big moments. And after seeing how active Kansas City was last offseason even on the heels of a 106 loss team, there should be absolutely no excuses centered on small market or budgets. There will be injuries in 2025 like there are every year, but the players who are on the field and healthy need to step up.

      Gotcha.    At times they do things that bother me. In 2014 they created different season plans pushing playoff tickets then they abandoned them. The moment they win some they act like they have been perennial champs.    They are running a business, I understand that. I get trying to leverage success on the field but they misjudge the market and get greedy. The WC prices were too high. The bottom line is they have not had enough consistent success in this market to act the way they do. This isn’t the early 90’s with no Ravens and Nationals.

      I guess I'm just not as in tune with the subtext emanating from an individual I've never actually met as you are. I'm also not as good at analyzing a player's body language as the experts in the game threads.

      They could add some special custom seating instead of simply bringing back what they had before.  Some sort of outfield luxury box deal.  Might be a novel addition to the park.
