I thought the Otter did a very good job today.  I look forward to hearing his broadcast tomorrow and in the future.  I believe our broadcasting has been improved just like our baseball team under this regime of Mike Elias.

This was my first time hearing him on a broadcast, and he sounded pretty natural in the booth. Pleasant voice. I liked his insights. He made a couple of good predictions about the pitch sequence he expected our guys to throw, and he was pretty much right on. I also enjoyed the running tally of terrible balls-called-strikes for the Jays vs. balls-called-strikes for us. Fun stuff. Hope he's back.

I thought he was good.

No complaints about any of the broadcast team, really. Ben McDonald's accent comes dangerously close to Hawk Harrelson territory. That's about the only gripe I can muster.

I think the Orioles broadcasts with Kevin, Ben, Palmer and Olsen are among the very best in baseball. I love Kevin Brown. He's got a great voice, comes very prepared, and is quick on his feet and at the mic.The only thing he isnt is mature looking...he looks like the bat boy when he's on camera...he should try and grow something...anything, to look older..He's also very, very funny....check out my interview with him last year...

Yes, I was impressed with him today too. From what I can remember, I believe this was my first time hearing him too. Anyone know when he last did a game on MASN?

I enjoyed his running count of ump misses, though maybe he'll get a call from the ump union about that. Solid game overall.

I enjoyed it as well and he was right every time.  Please bring in the Roboump!

1st time I ever heard Gregg Olsen talk was when the Orioles had just drafted him, and they had him record a promo to say Hi to Orioles fans, which they played inside Memorial Stadium. I distinctly remember one game against the Tigers where they played it in between innings. Mickey hit a home run that game.

Anyway, his broadcasts seem to elude me. I couldn't see the game today due to being busy with some family events. I watched the highlights, but they only featured Buck Martinez and the Blue Jays broadcasters. I'm hoping I can hear Gregg do his thing in the booth soon.

Across Otter's 1989-1993 full season Orioles run, he and Eck tied with a 2.26 ERA.

Some guy Dodger Stadium helped a lot beat them both among 300 IP relievers, and the guy traded for Jeff Bagwell was right behind them.

The missed call tally was fun. As a fan it's something you sort of keep track of in your own mind, but cool to have it out in the open for the audience.

Yep me too. And he did it for both sides. I’ve wondered if MASNs graphic needs to be recalibrated. A lot of times it looks bad on tv but Ump Scorecard will have it being much less egregious
