Remember when Grayson was viewed as the savior of the O's starting rotation?

Good times.

Yeah, remember when everyone was screaming that Elias was manipulating service time and if he came up he would just dominate.

MLB is hard.  It also is possible that our analytics department is giving players tools that are more effective in the minors vs the majors so as to make the prospects appear a bit better than they actually are.

That's funny.

I don't remember anyone predicting that he would just dominate.

I guess this was on facebook, or MASN or Twitter?

Here come the conspiracy theories. It’s a good point though because clearly all of our good prospects have come up and been exposed unlike other teams prospects.

It's clear that this organization can develop effective position players and bullpen arms, but we do not have the ability (for whatever reason) to develop starting pitching. Gausman and Arrieta both become dominant starters upon leaving this organization. Rodrigues has way more value to us being traded than he does starting for us. And it may be better for his personal career as well because only god knows why we cannot develop starting pitching here.

What does Gausman and Arrieta have to do with anything?

Do you think anyone is still around from when Arrieta was being developed in the minors?

It's systemic. We haven't developed a quality starting pitcher in decades. With the lone of exception of Erik Bedard. Trade Rogriguez while he still has value. Make him some other organization's project.

Seriously, the thought that the Orioles still have the same instruction setup in the minors as in the pre-Elias era is just as ridiculous as when the broadcasters say, "Player X is hitting .400 versus Team Y during his career."  As if any of those pitchers are still on Team Y that Player X was facing 5, 6, 7 seasons ago. 🤦‍♂️

But they overhauled the system. It's not systemic, when they system is not the same.

Those uniforms look like refugees from the Thursday Night  Senior Men's Slow Pitch softball league.

Immediately my first thought though I do like the tops. The combo with black pants and a white belt not so much.

How about white wants and orange patterned belt (to match the sleeves)

I liked the uniforms they've been wearing.
