Stopping base stealing is a team effort. Pitchers have to make the baesrunner uncomfortable, and be quick to the plate with a good pitch. The Catcher needs to have a good pop from his stance with a good stong throw that's accurate down low in front of the runners feet.

And the basemen has to get in good position quickly to receive the throw and make the tag. He also has to be very alert.

That is much more difficult with the inability of pitchers to hold runners on base like they used to

Other than the big two, simply cannot trust anyone out of the pen when you need them. Needs a shakeup at some point soon.
