Given the Orioles' recent history of drafting, trading for and signing pitching talent, they're lucky to have four decent starters. It's not a big surprise that they're lacking in SP depth.

Not much happened that inning but took 25 pitches to get through it. That is the future strength of this lineup - the ability to just wear a guy down.

Kevin Brown trying really hard not to overtly state his suspicions that the pitchcom issue was because his pitcher was getting too close to running out of time. 

"Clock was down to 5 seconds" followed quickly by "It's amazing how often that happens, don't you think?"

I don't think he was talking about them being defective...I think it's a strategy teams have come up with to avoid getting a called strike if the catcher thinks it's on the verge of happening.

Yeah the pitch count was pretty in an inning that the Orioles managed just one runner on base by walk. That's bodes well for getting him out of the game early if they can keep it up.
