I'd say our only untouchable prospect is Jackson Holliday. And you aren't going to trade Rutschman or Henderson. I would absolutely move Westburg or Cowser in a deal for Gilbert.

Dylan Carlson? I'd rather keep giving at bats to Cowser or call up Kjerstad.

And Jack Flaherty would merely be a meh move.

Possible they aren't looking at him for this year alone but as a long term 4th OF

This would not be a needle-moving move. Flaherty is milquetoast and I don’t know anything about Carlson but one quick look at his BBRef page shows his offense is unimpressive to say the least.

Sounds like an Elias move to me.  Cover innings, get CF with upside & control, free up Mullins for trade in off-season.

Carlson had a 780 OPS with 3.1 WAR as a 22 year old, one who can play center. I'd much rather he be our 4th OF than McKenna. But of course it really depends on what the trade is.

If/when he comes back, Carlson slides to a 4th OF role.
