Right it takes time. But even with time, not all of the rookies will figure it out this year. Some of them will though. And the more you have up, the higher chance you have a guy who figures it out and is better than the veterans by playoff time.

If they don't call up Heston or Ortiz and let a bunch of guys get a try, all of the eggs of improving the lineup are in the basket of Westburg and Cowser being good enough to replace the veterans. Would rather increase those odds.
