Hays doing his 2nd half fade.  Right now OF is not a strength.  Another vet OF rental would be a great trade deadline pickup.

Gotta take the good with the bad if you're going to play Hays. He doesn't have the approach that the younger guys do. Stretches where the wild swings look good and others where they don't. A lot like Mountcastle.

Iirc he had a couple of really bad starts earlier in the year and basically has been fighting to lower his era since then.

Henderson did nothing...nothing for 2 months this year, people wanted him in AAA. Cowser has been worth -.7 WAR, Westburg started off like gangbusters and is now hovering around league average in OPS+. I get the hype and I'm down for the struggle, but I don't care if they punt the season.

He was until this year. He has really struggled this season.
