Interesting to see how they play his player option for 2024. If the Rangers could get him as a rental for $15M that would awesome for them... but Max doesn't want that path based on previous remarks.

I suggested earlier if they lose 4 straight there nothing keeping them from becoming sellers Tuesday afternoon.  7 games back and behind 4 teams could make them sellers.

WTH are you talking about?

They swept a double header the first two games after they made the trade.

And I have no idea why would be against the Angels being a playoff team.  As long as it doesn't cost the O's a spot I'm all for Ohtani and Trout in the playoffs.

I would put the blame on Cohen at the point if a deal doesn’t happen. 
 

I actually give him some credit for not being delusional about his team this year. Takes some balls in NY.

Luisangel Acuna not in the lineup and Brock Porter pulled after 3 scoreless innings. That would be a huge haul.

He is under control next year. Just came back. Only made 2 starts. A team would have to be convinced he is healthy. Roughly owed $4.3M rest of this year and $13M next year. Interesting idea.

They lost their last two including Giolitos last start.  Arte Moreno and team couldn’t put a playoff team together with a 200+ million payroll and now they had to trade future assets for more.   I hope they don’t make the playoffs.  That’s what the hell I’m talking about.
