According to the published timetable, the last light rail train leaves Camden Station heading south at 8:23 PM on Sundays.

Has there been any announcement about it being extended to accommodate the Sunday night Orioles game?

I remember a few years ago we had to leave a game early to catch the last train.  We looked into it and apparently it was a union contract thing for the train workers and they couldn't extend the hours.  I don't know if that is still the case, but I would think that it probably is.

Years ago, the Orioles said that no matter what time a game ended, light rail transportation would be available as much as 30 minutes after the end of the game.

Of course, that was years ago, and things may have changed.  I wish I could tell you that that comforting reassurance appears on the Orioles' website today, but I can't find it.

Ravens played Steelers on Sunday Night 1/1/23.   Was an NFL/NBC “flexed” schedule change only announced 1 week prior.  Anyone have any recollections?

Apparantly earlier in the season there was a Sunday night game against the Bengals where light rail service stopped at its normal time but trains were then provided for end of game passengers.

”The MTA Light Rail will run on its normal Sunday service schedule, with trains operating until 9 p.m. At the end of the game, Light Rail service will be available for fans traveling north and southbound.

Fans leaving before the game's conclusion will need to use the MTA buses staged along the Light Rail curb at Oriole Park. These buses will take fans to north and southbound destinations.”

Not sure if $$$ needs to change hands between Orioles and the state for MTA to provide this service.

According to the people I know ,Light Rail will run a train after the game. Usually it will wait a little longer till full. You can call MTA and ask them 410-539-5000. Light Rail is not the most reliable service. I have noticed only one car during gane days .They have abandoned people downtown before but should at least have a train northbound and southbound. Probably more then one because supposedly running up to an hour after the game.

This is on the Orioles website, but as I said prior, a few times people have been abandoned. More because of an unplanned extra inning game.

 

• Light Rail Service: The Light Rail runs every 10 to 30 minutes. Return service on Light Rail for games ending after regular closing time will be extended for one hour with limited service during that period. Fans are advised to make their way promptly to the Light Rail platform after the game.
• Metro Subway Service: The Metro Subway runs every 8-15 minutes. Return service on Metro Subway for games ending after regular closing time will be extended for one hour after the final out. Fans are advised to make their way promptly to the station platform after the game.

I know the Nationals had issues with people having to leave in the seventh during a playoff game. Aftet a lot of flak companies in the area foot the bill so fans can get home and watch a full game with extended Metro hours .

Gates will open to fans two hours prior to first pitch for each of Baltimore's upcoming three games against the Yankees.

No problem. One thing besides the arguments about Adam Frazier, is that people post information about tickets,parking ,etc. ,that is useful to many people. Questions are usually answered and you don't have to dig around on the Oriole website or call them..
