Kevin Brown absence explained?

Mets broadcast team took a couple of minutes to address the situation in the Cubs game tonight (including an on cam appearance by both broadcasters…so that tells you it was planned).

Game is on MLB network too, so even more exposure and bad press for this Angelos nonsense.  Mets play by play guy categorized it as a “management” decision, rather than saying ownership or Angelos name directly, which was a bit disappointing.

KB has called his last Orioles game, I guarantee it.

Doubt it. He’s in a lose-lose situation. If he quits, he breaches his contract. I don’t think that’s an option. The Orioles would have to fire him or grant him some sort of release. That’s not gonna happen.

Oh god.   John is going to hear about this for a while.  I hope those Long Island Ice teas went down smooth because you my friend are going to feel this hangover.

No one gave 2 sh*ts about what he said during a pre-game show.  JA brought it upon himself for this backlash and it's going viral on social media and all the other outlets.

The worse part is these announcers keep saying "The Orioles" or the "Orioles management" which makes the whole organization look bad when really it's just one, thin-skinned little man who is making the org look bad. But what do you expect from a guy who has a press release brought back and has his name replace "The Orioles" so he can look like he's doing something.
