They’ve had a winning record every month.  On my list of 10-game segments, they only had one losing segment out of 11, and that was 4-6.   So yes, they’ve been remarkably consistent.   Let’s hope it stays that way.

No matter how Hyde shuffles the line up it always seems to work.  Our most elite stat is one run wins which leaves the fans exhausted all the time.  When it gets to nerve racking, I stop watching and follow it on Yahoo.  If something good is happening I put the TV back on.  I like the guys on this team so much I can't stand seeing them lose.

Agreed.  And aside from one really rough spell when they lost 4 in a row and 6 of 7, they have always been "playing well."

And not to jinx them, but: with Mountcastle regaining his mojo, Mullins returning, Henderson, Grayson, and Westburg maturing--not to mention several other possible developments (Hicks, Fujinami, Hayes breaking out of his slump) and the position players well rotated and rested--we might be even more victorious in the closing two months.
