What I gather from seeing those 2 bloopers land in the Bermuda Triangle of A's players, is....

*A's outfielders are playing deep and probably being told to begin the AB in the wrong spot in the outfield. (This would be an analytics department to communication to the players mistake.)

*There's a lot of ground to cover in the Oakland Coliseum. It's a big stadium and there's a lot of real estate to cover.
