Don't be such a drama queen.   It's one of the two or three best seasons we've had in the last 40 years.

Yeah, we have hit a bit of a slump (4-7)  the last two weeks, but don't overreact to that.   Houston is 4-8 their last 12.   Are their fans whining like little babies at how awful it is like many of ours are, or are they cheering the team on to come out of the slump and finish strong.   Texas is 13-19 their last 32, we haven't had a stretch that bad all season.    Seattle is 7-11 their last 18.   All those teams are in the midst of worst slumps than we are, and they have worse records than we do by a wide margin .  And you know what?  They are still good teams and if they make the playoffs they will be tough to beat in September.

We are in first place with the best record in the American League, we are winning this game, we are still the odds on favorites to win the division and be the #1 seed in the AL playoffs, and all people can do is whine about how miserable it is and how awful it is to watch the team.

Look, last night was a terrible game.   Our defense sucked.   Our starter had a poor effort.   But we are still at the top of the heap in the AL.   Believe it or not, slumps aren't permanent.   Ours will end and we will play at a high level again, just like those other teams will.   And we are in much better position than them.

Careful. The whiners are going to ask you to leave if you keep this up.

I speak only for myself. This is how I feel. I didn't say that you or anyone else should feel the same. So please, and I say this with all due respect, stop telling me how to be a fan. This team has been an emotional roller-coaster these past two weeks, even when they win. For me.
