The times I've seen those on Minor League games they took no more than it takes for MLB Gameday to show a pitch box. In fact, that's what was shown each time, a pitch box.

I am wondering if they will really let Means go for the no hitter considering he is only on his 3rd game back from tommy john surgery, he hasn't pitched more than 80 pitches in a start, and the score is only 2-0.

I'd still just rather have it on every pitch.  There will still be games impacted when teams run out of challenges and umpires blow calls.  

It'll be more rare than today under a challenge system.  But it could be zero.
