Most of that Dodgers was us - I wouldn't have guessed they were out of the postseason a long time after the '66 World Series loss.     They did have some NL West runner-ups to the ascending Big Red Machine teams in those years.

I'm still laughing about Vlad.  I read that pickoff dropped their WP by 11%.

The Vlad pickoff is I guess the 2023 companion to the 2022 Adam Frazier bloop as a big moment in it falling apart.

The base-out state down 2 runs, your fellow franchise player up (how good friends are Vlad and Bo?), it was a shocking blunder.

I think they'll have a worse 3B next year and all the main supporting players will be another year past peak.     Vlad + Bo will probably earn $15-$20mm more next season, a bigger add than the Chapman $12 is a subtract - Romano also should start making substantially more in late Arb.

2 years to go with the cornerstones.
