I think Hicks should sit...and I dont know what happened to O'Hearn but he looks terrible too...id take my chances with Kjerstad...he is a contact hitter..and I think he is unflappable..

Gunnar is a black hole against quality lefties. He has no shot against them and he's going to keep getting pitched to like this until he can adjust.

Hall and Wells looked notably good to me today if we can stay in this thing more than a few more days.

Hate that they lost, but Texas looks beatable.   It’s normal for a team to come out rusty after all that time off.

And Kjerstad might get lucky and run into a pitch he can put over the wall.

I don’t think we looked rusty exactly. They made some plays and pitches at critical moments, the ball bounced in their direction a few times, and we didn’t do anything crazy spectacular. At this brief moment in time, I think we are pretty evenly matched. I might need more bourbon.

No doubt. If I wasn’t an Orioles fan that would have been a great game to watch. 
 

I also think we see Flaherty now instead of Webb.

In that game we needed Santander to get the key hit and/or Gunnar not to try to steal there.  Close game .. get them tomorrow!!!

My guess is he thought he would get a heater. Hole open on right side and fielder moving to cover. He puts it in right spot runners on corners. Any grounder stays out of double play.

Good chance lineup tomorrow is same as today. I don’t see how they sit Mullins. 
 

I guess it’s possible Mateo starts instead of Urias.

I agree that Texas looks beatable but the bats need to come to life. We need a spark. Maybe Kjerstad is the answer. I don’t think it’s Hicks. Mullins is so valuable in CF but some of his swings and misses today were ugly.

I superstitiously blame today's lack of offense and subsequent loss on this thread title (and other people) calling the Oriole's, "O's".

I'd like for us to be better than a zero, and score more than a goose egg.
