No one to blame. Not umpires, not dumb luck...we were just beaten in both games by more complete teams. I would sit Mullins and put Hicks in CF and Santander in RF, and try and get Kjersstad in Game 3...the Orioles just didnt come up with any consistency in this series...but the 8 runs IS encouraging...and I though O'Hearn hitting a ball well to LF just now MIGHT be a good sign...Mullins is 2 for his last 40, he's been a great player for us, but he needs to sit now...I still think we can win Tuesday night..but Im not sure if we have enough for a full comeback....I remain super proud of our guys but we didnt get anything from Webb, or Grayson or Mullins ...Its not over...but you can see "over" from the horizon...

Pythagorean record isn't the be all end all, but based on run differential the Orioles predicted record was 94-68 this season compared to 96-66 for the Rangers. This is a very evenly matched up couple of teams and the Rangers bats are on fire right now.

Maybe the Orioles hitters are getting their timing back after scoring 8 runs today.

Just a crazy series so far.  If you'd told me we held them to 3 runs in game one I'd have felt pretty confident we win that game.  And if you'd then told me we scored 8 runs in game 2, I'd be ecstatic, assuming we were up 2-0, heading to Texas getting ready to sweep.  Yet here we are, down 0-2 and in danger of being swept ourselves.
