The AFC is very winnable. Road all 3 games but doable. Play at Pitts/Hou round 1. Then have to go thru both BUFF and KC more than likely.

Do we have the prospect currency, yes we absolutely do. But to Chicago that means Mayo or Basallo. That's a no go. If they eventually accept Kjerstad, Beavers, and Povich (or whatever), then by all means make the trade. -
They need to get one of Burnes or Fried IMO. Or get Crochet and sign him to a long term deal that justifies the chips your giving up. But, you have lots of available money and I don't see the point in trading chips which we have less of now. Also, I'd try to do the Sonny Gray salary dump deal. take 15ish of his salary on and send a few prospects back. One of Burnes or Fried and Gray make our rotation legit. If Bradish returns after the break and is ready to be his former self then they can possibly deal from a strength.

If they fail on all those 1/2/3 tier guys, I'd personally still bring in one of the 4/5 tier guys you listed. A lot of those guys won't be expensive and have the potential to hold down a spot for a while. That's certainly a bad outcome if that's all we get though.
