I saw Barry Bonds hit #676 and Manny hit #500.

I remember Giambi's blast that landed on Boog's last year.

I remember a game at Camden Yards in 1996 where Brady bopped a lead-off blast and Baines followed it up with a shot to right.

I remember a series of Miggy shots to left field.

I remember a Ramon Hernandez ninth inning shot in April 2005 or 2006.

But the weirdest one was when Melvin Mora bounced one off the top of the foul pole.

Yep......

Not bad for a guy who roots for the bad guys! :D

Ha!

A few of my favorite Homers that I've seen in person...

Hulett walk off in September '89 against Cleveland

Reboulet off Randy Johnson in '97 ALDS

Payton GS against Sox last year

Decinces walk off that started "Orioles Magic"

Of course Cal 2130-2131

A forgotten but great one.

The lineups that DJ would put out there against lefties, especially tough ones, were always funny to look at on paper but always reminded you why he was such a great manager.

He truly was. Hoiles at 1st instead of Raffy in two playoff games. Great stuff.

I saw Gary Roenicke hit a Grand Slam with 2 outs in the 8th inning at Yankee Stadium. The slam won the game and a Maryland lady won $1,000,000 in a contest. I was in the Right Field Bleachers. The crowd went silent as I jumped for joy and enjoyed a smuggled cold beverage. Sunday June 17, 1984.

1. Cal in 2131. Almost missed it getting a beer.

2. Cal homer in Memorial Stadium where the outfielder went over the fence and dropped the ball. Doesn't sound impressive until you realize those fences were about 7 feet high.

3. Reggie homer the year he played for the O's. Never went 15 feet off the ground and hit the aluminum bleachers in left. Sounded like something from the Gong Show.

4. Cecil Cooper homer to dead center in Memorial Stadium. It hit the scoreboard.

5. Butch Hobson the same year as Cecil Cooper. He hit one off Palmer that drew rain.
